In the Digital Cinematography (Online) program at Full Sail University, you’ll learn to create dynamic content by emulating the workflow of an actual studio – beginning with script development, production planning, and art design & location shooting, followed by directing, filming, post-production, and finally, distribution.

Steffan Lones doesn’t shy away from hard work. In just five short years after graduating from Full Sail’s Computer Animation bachelor’s degree program, he applied grit, determination, and plenty of initiative to make his way to his current position as Visual Effects Team Lead with Moving Picture Company (MPC) in Montreal, Canada, where he’s worked on VFX for films like Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Shazam!, X-Men: Apocalypse, and more.
Composition and Visual Design – In this key fundamental course, students learn first-hand how to design, frame, compose, and arrange images to tell and enhance visual stories using professional-grade equipment.
Electronic Field Production – Students will focus on research, interviewing, and other technical requirements relevant to the logistical, structural, and aesthetic methodologies that are unique to field productions, like documentaries.
