BSc in Sportscasting
Developed in collaboration with sportscasting veteran Dan Patrick, the goal of the Sportscasting program at Full Sail University is to provide students with constant real-world experience both on camera and behind the scenes.

In the Sportscasting program at Full Sail University, you’ll build a foundation in interviewing, voice work, writing and storytelling, with ongoing guidance from professional mentors who are active in the world of sportscasting.
Plus, you’ll gain advanced knowledge in news-gathering, reporting, and multimedia communication, and develop presenting skills for current and emerging technologies – from broadcast, to gaming, to virtual and augmented reality.

Steffan Lones doesn’t shy away from hard work. In just five short years after graduating from Full Sail’s Computer Animation bachelor’s degree program, he applied grit, determination, and plenty of initiative to make his way to his current position as Visual Effects Team Lead with Moving Picture Company (MPC) in Montreal, Canada, where he’s worked on VFX for films like Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Shazam!, X-Men: Apocalypse, and more.
Vocal Training for Sportscasting – Students will learn how to recognize and develop vocal richness and authenticity while gaining an understanding the philosophy of communicating with audiences and the pillars of vocal communication.
Broadcast for Advanced Technology – Students will explore broadcast opportunities for new and progressive technologies, such as virtual reality and augmented reality, while understanding their audience-engagement potential.
